Stunning trek that circles around Mt. Manaslu (8,163m), the eighth-highest mountain in the world. Located in the remote Gorkha region of Nepal, this trek offers a rich blend of natural beauty, cultural heritage, and high mountain adventure. The trail takes you through traditional villages influenced by Tibetan Buddhism, lush forests, deep river gorges, and high alpine meadows. A major highlight is crossing the Larke La Pass (5,106m), which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. Less crowded than Everest or Annapurna regions, the Manaslu Circuit is perfect for trekkers seeking solitude, authenticity, and a challenging journey through some of Nepal's most beautiful and untouched landscapes

Itinerary
Arrive Kathmandu. Airport transfer. Overnight hotel.
Today is focused on preparation. You’ll meet your guide team for a full briefing on the trek route, altitude, safety and expectations for the journey ahead. Final gear checks will be done, and there’s time to purchase or rent any last-minute items needed for the mountains.
Afternoon tour of Pashupatinath & Boudhanath. Overnight Kathmandu.
Begin with a long but scenic drive via Arughat or Dhading to Machha Khola (900m) ~8–10 hrs. Roads are bumpy, especially after Soti Khola, but the views are dramatic. Travel on private Jeep/Bus.
Begin trekking along the Budhi Gandaki River through lush hillsides and Gurung villages. Cross suspension bridges, climb ridges, and pass hot springs at Tatopani.

After checking permits in Jagat, climb stone steps and continue through subtropical forests, small hamlets, and across long bridges.

Enter the culturally Tibetan-influenced region. Cross the Budhi Gandaki multiple times, with changing vegetation and landscape.

Walk through forests and past chortens and mani walls into the high Himalayas. Enjoy stunning views of Manaslu, Saula Himal, and Ribung Gompa.

Trek through alpine meadows, yak pastures, and charming stone villages. Arrive in Samagaon, a beautiful Tibetan village with spectacular views of Manaslu.

Rest day for altitude adjustment. Optional hikes:
• Manaslu Base Camp (4,800m) – strenuous, 7–8 hrs
• Pungyen Gompa (4,050m) – moderate, 4–5 hrs
A short day, but essential for acclimatisation. Walk past yak herders' camps and through high alpine terrain. Samdo is a Tibetan refugee village near the border.

Optional hike toward the Tibetan border viewpoint (around 5,000m)Approx. 3–5 hrs. or take it easy and explore Samdo village.
Trek past glacial moraines and remote terrain to reach the basic lodges at Larkya Phedi. Rest well before the big pass day.

A long, challenging but rewarding day. Begin early (pre-dawn). The climb to Larkya La is steep and cold, but the views of Himlung, Kang Guru, and Annapurna II are spectacular. Descend to Bimthang, a beautiful valley with glaciers and peaks.

Descend through rhododendron forests, yak pastures, and small villages with increasing signs of greenery and cultivation.
Approx. 6–7 hrs
Short trek down to Dharapani where you reconnect with the Annapurna Circuit trail.
Approx. 3–4 hrs
Drive along a rough mountain road through Marsyangdi Valley to Besisahar.
Approx. 5–6 hrs (jeep)
Return to Kathmandu by private jeep or tourist bus. Enjoy your first proper shower and celebratory dinner.
Approx. 6–7 hrs (road)
Rest, explore, shop for souvenirs, or fly home. Option to extend your trip to Chitwan, Pokhara, or a cultural tour in the valley.
